  The good, were the people, the food (which was excellent) and the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is presented. I was there on Friday night, October 23rd. The opening act was the worst. Everyone at our table was holding their hands over their ears. It was sad, because the 3 young men really WANT to be good, but it was just painful listening to them. The main act, THE RAT PACK is only fair at best as far as their singing talent. Their show in itself, was pleasant and entertaining, and it made for a good overall night out. The man that played Sammy Davis Jr. (who SHOULD have had the most talent)...was off key in just about every song he sang except for Candy Man. Even his voice range was NOTHING like the real Sammy. The directors of this show really need to search for a replacement for his part. Again, listening to him sing, was mostly painful to the ears. When the servers would come around and ask if we enjoyed the show, we all said "yes" and felt bad that we really could not say what I am saying here. We sat at a table with another couple that we had just met that night, and spoke with others...and what I am saying here really does reflect a truthful feeling felt by all who understand and know music. I, again, would encourage the staff to be honest with their talent and search for the very best, because the whole idea of this theater is just wonderful.

  The Yellow Rose Dinner Theater Is terrific. The BBQ Brisket is yummy and the BBQ Chicken is worth the price of the ticket. The sides that come with your dinner are fresh and homemade. The bread, well that's a meal in itself. Warm and delicious with the two different types of butter that is served with the massive loaf. Now, the Show...Coming from back East, I have seen many different types of shows, whether at local theaters or on Broadway. That being said I will tell you the performers at the Yellow Rose at terrific. They pour there heart and soul into each performance and give you as a patron as wonderful evening. They bring warmth and talent into the show. As you leave the theater you have an opportunity to meet the performers and they are gracious and kind. You can't go wrong buying a ticket to the Yellow Rose Dinner Theater, your evening will be filled with laughter and your tummy with great food.

  Yellow Rose was great on Friday night with the "Seventies" music. It was at times, profound, energetic, and comical. I cant think of a better way to spend an evening. You can dress up or down, food is homemade that very day and the desserts are"to die for". I have been several times, and will go again. This theatre would be worth driving a ways and staying in a motel to make a really wonderful short trip. There is even security, a gift shop, and you are treated royally. This may be Oklahoma's best kept secret! Keep it up, Yellow Rose.
